Old rose multi panel peplum jacket in sateen and velour

Description

Multi-panel heritage-style jacket in cotton modal stretch velour and cotton sateen. Round neckline faced in self-fabric. Fastened with a dome stud at neck and horn buttons down the front. Body in velour with centre front panel and diagonal patch pockets in sateen. Curved body panels across the front over pleats at the waist creating a fluted peplum in front. Natural shoulders with inset sleeves which are pleated into a straight cuff. Reverse has an inset inverted V-shape centre panel with fit seams opening into pleats above the waist which open to create a fluted peplum hem which is finished with overstitching and velvet ribbon.

The garment underwent a pigment dyeing treatment with special dyes, which give the garment a "delave" appearance without showing any interruptions in the points most subject to friction. The colour shades, streaks, and different absorptions are the result of this particular treatment.
